Michael Aaron Einziger (born 21 June 1976) in Los Angeles, is the multi-instrumentalist, co-writer and guitarist of the alternative rock band Incubus, as well as his own side project band, Time Lapse Consortium. He is of Jewish Heritage. Instruments that he has played on Incubus records include guitar, piano, Mellotron, pipa, analog synthesizers, tape samplers, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, as well as many others. He currently uses Vox and Marshall amps, along with Fender Jazzmaster guitars, as well as a plethora of effects pedals (11-15 depending on the tour), favoring phase shifter and echo effects.
